Today ecommerce sales are approaching $316 billion dollars and are projected to rise.  This accounts for over 12 percent of all retail sales in the United States.  More amazing is that the number does not count business that came through the web.  If you count all business that is either sold or originated through the web it is more than 25% – 30% of all sales in the United States.
